Herro had a respectable performance record in season 2022-23, he averaged 20.1 points, 4.2 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game and had an average game time of 34.9 minutes per game. He is very efficient in playing the game to his strengths by using his elite shooting abilities and versatility to play both guard positions.
Herro recently revealed his plans for the upcoming season, he stated, “My goal this year is to make my name untouchable.” He seems pretty confident for the upcoming season and his statement indicates that he is dedicated to performing at his full potential and emerging as a dominant force on the court.

Tyler Herro is surely one of the best players with great potential, but he still has a major weakness that is easily exploitable in a high-paced sport like basketball. Herro is a good shooter and has great ball-handling skills, he is able to create his own shot and has that competitive fire inside him. But he falls short when it comes to defending, he is poor in his defending skills and is barely able to collect rebounds.
Herro backed himself up on his weaknesses to keep a strong front of his fans and followers. He reportedly said, “If you look around the league, I am right there with every young guy that they say is the next big thing or whatever it is. I know my value, I know l’m one of them and don’t need to say it. I will show you.”
Tyler claimed to be on par with all the rising stars in the NBA who are considered to be the next big names. He emphasized that he knows his worth and what he brings to the table in a game, and rather than talking more about it, he said that he’ll show it. It is true, to some extent, that Herro is on par with most of the young talents in the league when it comes to offensive capabilities, but defensively, he still falls short.
