Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime signs Devin Haney after Ryan Garcia’s wild anti-drink rant

Two boxing superstars will collide on April 20, 2024, in New York. One will aim to maintain his undefeated record against a familiar foe, with whom he has a 3-3 record in amateur boxing. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn will set the stage for this highly anticipated event.

Will Ryan Garcia’s off-ring troubles prove to be a difference-maker against Devin Haney? Will Devin Haney’s recent decision to ally himself with Logan Paul and KSI help him gain an edge over his rival?

Devin Haney is officially signed by Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime

Logan Paul and KSI-owned Prime Hydration drink have signed endorsement deals with superstars from the realm of combat sports, beginning with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski from the UFC. Devin Haney is the latest addition to Prime-endorsed athletes, which also include Dricus du Plessis, Terence Crawford, and Shakur Stevenson, among others, as reported by Bleacher Report.

The endorsement of Haney came at a time when Ryan Garcia has been at odds with the energy drink. Nonetheless, after news broke of the endorsement, Haney tweeted, “I love Prime actually.. 🤭” which was a subtle dig at Garcia, who went off at the drink. Garcia’s feud with Logan Paul began after he called out Jake Paul in a boxing match and vowed to end his career.

In addition to combat sports athletes, Prime has also endorsed Patrick Mahomes, Kyle Larson, Erling Haaland, Auston Matthews, and Alisha Lehmann. Nonetheless, many countries, including Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, among others, have banned the energy drink, mainly due to its high caffeine content.

Prime Hydration is also the official sports drink of the Ultimate Fighting Championships and recently became the center-ring mat sponsor of WWE. Logan Paul currently holds the title of United States Champion in WWE, where he is regarded as one of the best heels of the promotion.

What did Ryan Garcia say about drinking Prime?

Ryan Garcia called out Jake Paul for a boxing match after Paul’s first-round knockout victory over Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico. Soon after, the feud escalated and Garcia began endorsing conspiracy theories related to Satan. As such, Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration became a target of Garcia’s recent social media rant.

“Anybody who drinks Prime is working for Satan because you’re giving them money so they can keep on creating these. You’re giving them power. It’s sick. Do not give Satan power,” said Garcia, who urged people not to drink Prime, alleging that it will cause health hazards. Moreover, he also expressed his distaste for the drink and was skeptical of its taste despite having no added sugar.

“Any organization that uses Prime is low-key working for the devil, and they don’t even know it. They don’t know it because they’re sick people,” Garcia continued his tirade on the Satan narrative and even stated that the drink is hurting children.

The recent rant was among the many posted on social media in the recent past, and many of his family members, including his ex-wife have urged people to help Garcia recover from an apparent mental illness.
