Max Verstappen’s father claims Red Bull ‘team is in danger’ with Christian Horner still on the crew

Christian Horner has been entangled in an overwhelming situation for an entire month, which has even questioned Red Bull’s performance on the grid due to his guidance. Although Max Verstappen had momentarily grabbed the attention of the media through his remarkable victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix, some key figures in the industry, like his father, Jos Verstappen, have severely criticized Horner’s tenure at the team, despite all the chaos surrounding him.

While it is undoubtedly true that the Dutch driver has the capacity to overcome all the obstacles and effectively lead the team on his own, there is also an element of scepticism among certain spectators regarding his performance, particularly due to Horner serving as his team principal.

As a result, this sentiment has been voiced by his father, who has weighted in on the matter by expressing that it is unjust for them to endure the criticism solely because of one individual. He said, “There is tension here while he remains in position. The team is in danger of being torn apart. It can’t go on the way it is. It will explode. He is playing the victim when he is the one causing the problems.”

Is the Christian Horner investigation over?

Unfortunately for the team boss, even after being proved innocent this week through an internal investigation conducted by the F1 team’s parent company, Red Bull GmbH, the conspiracies ignited all over again due to a leaked document of information being sent to over 100 key figures in the industry through email.

After Red Bull has opted not to comment regarding this situation, spectators have raised their suspicions, questioning whether their internal investigation was false or not. However, Horner has dismissed the matter in the media by stating that these actions were taken to gather unwanted attention from social media. The former bosses of the FIA and F1 have decided to conduct a meeting regarding the situation to discuss any further actions taken against the team principal.
