Whatever the case is, Smackdown this week will see the Brahma Bull’s rivalry with the Royal Rumble winner heat up again. The Rock went on social media to show pictures of the brutal attack he did on Cody Rhodes. He made it clear that Rhodes would face more consequences at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

Ahead of tonight’s Smackdown, Dwayne Johnson tweeted, “It didn’t have to be this way. But now it’s the only way. – Final Boss.” People’s Champion has been actively working to undermine American Nightmare since their feud started at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event. 

Even on the same RAW, The Rock’s whispered words before leaving the stage remained a mystery for a short time, but nobody anticipated the level of ruthlessness he displayed.
