Israel Adesanya takes sly dig at Dricus Du ‘P*ssy’ Plessis: “F*cking shut up”

Israel Adesanya was one of the names in contention to headline UFC 300, the coveted PPV of the promotion. However, the promotion ultimately went with a light heavyweight title fight between Jamahal Hill and Alex Pereira, the longtime rival of Adesanya.

Even though Adesanya’s middleweight title fight at UFC 300 against Dricus du Plessis did not materialize, he has provided a prediction for the early prelims of the PPV with Dan Hooker.

Israel Adesanya fires shot at Dricus Du Plessis

Israel Adesanya did not mince words against Dricus du Plessis, as he was the reason why they did not headline UFC 300. Adesanya’s opening words on his UFC 300 prelims prediction YouTube video began with a diss against du Plessis.

“It would’ve been nice if du pu**y would be like ‘Yeah, let’s fight.’ Oh, f*cking not up. But again, oh my pu**y hurts, so he didn’t want to fight”, Adesanya voiced his resentment at du Plessis. The South African had called out Adesanya after he won the title from Sean Strickland at UFC 297. However, an injury made it difficult for him to make a quick turnaround.

“I saw something he said, something like, ‘Oh, I guess he didn’t want to fight me, the king of Africa, in home soil. Ni**a, You didn’t want to fight me on home soil, so shut the f*ck up”, Adesanya further bashed du Plessis.

Dricus du Plessis recently teased a title fight against Adesanya at UFC 305 which will be at the RAC Arena In Perth. It will be Adesanya’s consecutive title fight in Australia, as his last fight was a loss against Sean Strickland at UFC 293 in Sydney.

Israel Adesanya predicts UFC 300 prelims

Israel Adesanya and Dan Hooker recently gave out their prediction for the early prelims of UFC 300. Of the four fights in it, the duo agreed only in one. Both predicted that Jessica Andrade would win the strawweight fight against fellow Brazilian, Marina Rodriguez.

In the opening fight of the event between Deiveson Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt, Adesanya picked Garbrandt by decision, whilst Hooker went with decision the other way. The other two fights were lightweight bouts in which Hooker had a vested interest.

Adesanya picked Jim Miller to win against Bobby Green, whereas Hooker wanted Green to win. They were scheduled to fight at UFC Austin but Hooker had to withdraw himself due to injury, per MMA Fighting. He had already knocked out Miller when they fought.

Adesanya predicted Miller as the veteran had already won at UFC 100 and UFC 200. A victory for Miller at UFC 300 would be a feel-good story. Nonetheless, Green is a slight underdog in the fight. Moreover, Miller is also one of the only four unranked fighters in the PPV.

The featured bout of early prelims is a fight between Jalin Turner and Renato Moicano. Adesanya picked Turner, whom Hooker defeated at UFC 290, to prevail over Moicano. However, Hooker wanted Moicano to win so he could fight him.
