Kylian Mbappe Transfer News: PSG star’s move to Real Madrid reportedly confirmed after sensational 48-minute hat trick

The clock is ticking for Kylian Mbappe, and he knows it. For almost two years, Kylian Mbappe’s future has been in the air, leaving many to guess where the former wonderkid could end up – stay at PSG or move to Real Madrid. As another summer approaches, Kylian Mbappe is again the most talked about player as a crucial decision looms.

The in-form forward scored a 48-minute hat-trick in PSG’s 9-0 rout of low-tier Revel in the French Cup yesterday, and reports have now confirmed his imminent move to Real Madrid after rejecting to renew his contract at the Parc des Princes for much longer.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid reportedly confirmed

Kylian Mbappe has been the subject of very intense interest from Real Madrid for a few years now. The Los Blancos lost Karim Benzema to a Saudi club last summer and have since been without a recognized striker, which made them go all out to sign the PSG star but to no avail.

With the 25-year-old having all the power in his hands, Real Madrid reportedly gave up on his pursuit, with the club citing several reasons why they couldn’t afford to sign him, including an astronomical wage that would have caused an unbalancing effect in their payroll.

However, with the summer transfer window less than eight months away, the Spanish giants are back in the race to sign Mbappe and have reportedly made a breakthrough in negotiations with the Frenchman.

This explains Real Madrid’s reluctance to sign any major players in the past few transfer windows, and despite injuries to several of their defenders this season, Carlo Ancelotti has maintained his contentment with the current squad as they maintain their pursuit of the treble this season.

Kylian Mbappe scores brilliant hat trick for PSG

Despite his imminent exit from PSG in the coming summer, Kylian Mbappe’s work rate hasn’t declined, and he scored a brilliant 48-minute hat-trick to prove just that yesterday.

PSG faced off with low-tier side Revel in the French Cup yesterday, and the French club showed why they’ve been spending so much money in the last few years. Luis Enrique’s men put four past Revel in the first half of the game, with Kylian Mbappe bagging a brace, with a Marco Asensio goal and an own goal completing the dominant first half.

PSG came out flying in the second half, with Mbappe completing his hat-trick in the 48th minute of the game. Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Cher Ndour also got on the scoresheet to give PSG an emphatic 9-0 win to secure a place in the next round of the competition.
