NBA community brutally roasts Clippers SG Paul George for ‘Where’s Waldo’ Halloween costume: “bro setting himself up”

As 31 October arrived, Christians in most countries of the world celebrated Halloween. Halloween is a period in the religious calendar dedicated to honoring the deceased, which includes saints, martyrs, and all the faithful who have passed away. Coincidentally, the Matchup between the LA Clippers and the Orlando Magic fell on the same day as this iconic occasion.

Most people dressed in costumes to watch the match, including Paul George who also appeared with the Halloween costume before the match. However, his costume idea was not welcome among fans who brutally criticized the player.

Halloween has come to the NBA, which means players get to wear costumes to work. Paul George is one of those players who had an unexpected outfit. The Los Angeles Clippers star, who is often considered a role model for younger NBA stars, appeared for the game against the Orlando Magic wearing an attire that fans found amusing.

He dressed up as the main character from TV series ‘Where’s Waldo?’ leading to lots of playful teasing before he even had to defend against either Franz Wagner or Paolo Banchero.

The Clippers are in good shape after acquiring James Harden in a trade. They still don’t have the prolific scorer on their team as they face Paolo Banchero’s Magic, but the Clippers are having a goof start to the sesson.

In the first three games, Paul George averaged 27.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.7 steals in 32.7 minutes per game for the LA Clippers. George was originally expected to be a part of the Harden trade from the Sixers, but it seems fans will see the duo team up together in the coming days.

NBA community brutally roasts Paul George’s Halloween costume

Paul George’s act of appearing at the LA Clippers game dressing up in a ‘Where’s Waldo’ costume has not gone down so well. Fans believe the 8-time NBA All-Star has stupidly set himself up as meme material. In case his team suffers another playoffs setback this season, the ‘Where’s Paul doe’ memes will be circulating all over the internet.

The Clippers lost to the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference First Round during the post-games last season and George hasn’t really been playing so well in the playoffs over the years.

After a tweet from LA Clippers with the caption “Where’s Paul doe?” began to trend on social media, the post has been bookmarked by a huge number of fans. Although most fans took a dig at the player, some fans appeared to support George’s Halloween dressing as they felt it was right for him to also celebrate the Halloween occasion.

One fan wrote, “I can smell the slander posts incoming with this one”.

Most fans believe he set himself up before the matchup and it was a bad idea for George, “Bro setting himself up”.

Another also called for the post to be taken down with a post “DELETE THIS YOU SET HIM UP”.

However, the Paul George dressing with the Halloween costume didn’t distract his on-court performance in the game against the Orlando Magic as he registered 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in 33 minutes of play time to lead the Clippers to a win over the Magic.
