Damian Lillard’s admission of boring Milwaukee life draws hilarious reactions from fans: “Wanted that Miami nightlife”

Since bringing his skill set to Milwaukee, Damian Lillard has only bolstered the Bucks’ quest for a championship since 2021. The 2024 NBA All-Star Game MVP has come clutch for his side many a time this season and fans can only hope for it to continue.

Despite all the noise on the court, Lillard finds himself in a tough spot once the buzzer is sounded at the end of a match. The 33-year-old now has provided fans a peek into his rinse and repeat life, a lifestyle that is highly surprising from an outside perspective.

Damian Lillard shares day-to-day routine living in Milwaukee

Damian Lillard’s addition to the Bucks squad has given the franchise the hope to lift the Championship title this season. While things are looking good for the Bucks in their playoff chase, the behind-the-scenes situation is a bit different, at least for Dame. Lillard has expressed how exhausting his life in Milwaukee is.

Worn out with his daily routine the 33-year-old said, “Go to practice, go home, watch boxing, play video games. Man, I type in [boxing website] FightHype on YouTube 100 times and be praying for something new to be on there. Seriously, I don’t have much of a life.”

The point guard had spoken to his former team the Portland Trail Blazers last year for trading him in the offseason. While he desired to go to the Miami Heat, he was instead traded to his current team, the Milwaukee Bucks. The star is currently going through a messy divorce with his longtime partner which involves the custody of his children.

Fans brutally troll Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard has recently unwrapped his daily routine which lacks excitement according to him. While the 8-time All-Star has highlighted his fun-deprived life, fans have found the humor in it. The X users (formerly known as Twitter) have flocked in to make the most out of the situation.

Here are some of the comments:

A fan sarcastically commented “Damn must be hard being a multi-millionaire” indicating the enormous wealth he has.

Further, a fan added, “He can just buy friends” since he is one of the highest-paid athletes.

Specifying his past desire to move to the Miami Heat a fan wrote, “He really wishes he could be clubbing in Miami (crying emoji)”

While another fan made a personal comment, “He needs a girlfriend”

Someone seconded the same thought, “Dame wanted that Miami nightlife”

Another fan commented about him being wealthy, “I feel bad then I remember he’s a multimillionaire that in reality could do anything”

Despite having a not-so-great time off-court, “Dame Time” did not let it affect his performance on-court. He has averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists so far with the Bucks winning three straight games after much criticism.

They will be facing the Charlotte Hornets next on Feb. 29 for the second time in a row.
