Ian Garry rants on ‘f*cking idiot’ Rampage Jackson for ‘chatting mad sht’ after failed podcast deal

Ian Garry, the undefeated UFC welterweight, is looking to continue his winning ways at UFC 298 against Geoff Neal. Neal and Garry were supposed to fight at UFC 292 but Neal pulled out due to injury and was replaced by veteran Neal Magny.

Recently, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Rampage Jackson was interviewed by Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour and he had some things to say about Ian Garry and his personal life. It was something that did not go well with Garry.

Ian Garry brutally slams Rampage Jackson

Quinton Rampage Jackson recently made disrespectful comments toward Ian Garry during his appearance on the MMA Hour. Jackson acted as if he did not know the last name of Ian Garry and then accused the Irishman of turning down his podcast invite. Moreover, he even called Garry a cuck, a derogatory sexual term.

Ian Garry took to social media to vent his displeasure at the statements made by Rampage Jackson on the MMA Hour. “Quinton Rampage Jackson went on Ariel last night and spoke about how I turned down his podcast because I was afraid of being made fun of,” Garry said of what Jackson told Ariel Helwani.

“He calls me a cuck. And he’s like, “The cuck, you didn’t even know my name,” and he’s asking Ariel, “Does his wife really have a boyfriend now?” You take no because you’re believing absolute bollocks and lies from other people,” Garry further said of the disrespectful comments that Jackson made.

“Imagine running a podcast and not knowing who your next guest was. Imagine being that stupid and then going on Ariel and speaking about it,” Garry trolled Jackson as he labeled the statements of Jackson as a show of weakness and ineptitude.

“Well, I can tell you one thing, you’re definitely not having me on there because you’re a f*ckin idiot and chatting mad,” Garry concluded his rant as he vowed to never appear on the JAXXON podcast, co-hosted by Rampage Jackson.

Is Ian Garry’s personal life affecting his UFC career?

Ian Garry’s personal life has become a subject of discussion more than his professional life recently. Garry is married to Layla Anna-Lee, who is 14 years his senior, and he also has a son from a previous marriage to Richard Cullen, who is now the head nutritionist of Ian Garry. Rumors of his alleged unconventional personal life circulated on social media weeks after his spectacular win at UFC 292.

Rumors circulated that Cullen is living with the Garry family and fans and fighters alike began to troll the Irish fighter for it. Garry was scheduled to fight Vicente Luque at UFC 296 but had to withdraw due to pneumonia which further made fans and fighters bash Garry as they felt that Garry withdrew due to fear of verbal assault.

UFC fighter Sean Strickland was at the forefront of the social media attack on Garry and this made Garry even threaten to sue Strickland for defamation. Strickland even labeled Garry’s wife a sexual predator in addition to several other fighters like Colby Covington and Henry Cejudo, who also trolled Garry and his wife.

Ian Garry also had problems related to training camp as he was kicked out of Team Renegade by Leon Edwards’ coach. Nonetheless, Garry has vowed to shut all haters at UFC 298 against Geoff Neal who is a top 10 welterweight.
