However, there’s one achievement that has eluded Guardiola during his tenure with Manchester City, defeating their league rivals Tottenham Hotspur away at Spurs’ home ground in any competition. It all began when the London side moved to their new home in 2019 and since then, the Citizens have been in pursuit of a victory.

In his recent interview with Sky Sports, when asked about his plans following Manchester City’s successful treble season, Guardiola responded, “To score a goal at Spurs away, I want to beat Spurs away,” half-jokingly. As Guardiola’s team is still seeking their first victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

In their defense of the treble, Manchester City will face Tottenham Hotspur at their stadium on Friday in the FA Cup fourth-round fixture. This match presents an opportunity for the in-form English champions to secure their first win at the Tottenham Stadium, following a previous meeting that ended in a 3-3 draw, courtesy of a controversial decision by referee Simon Hooper.

He said, “Yeah but Kevin De Bruyne is still at Man City, Erling Haaland will play here too. I’m not sure it’s that easy. But if United thinks with this person everything is going to change, congratulations!” taking a sly dig at United.

Omar Berrada is credited with playing a significant role in bringing Erling Haaland and other key players to the Etihad while he was with the club. His outstanding work as a top executive in the sport has earned him recognition. Now, he will be joining the INEOS group and Sir Jim Ratcliffe at Old Trafford.
