After receiving Super Bowl taunt, NFL legend Cam Newton savagely roasts trolling fan with a candid response

The Carolina Panthers veteran star Cam Newton hasn’t played in the NFL in three years. After being replaced as the starting quarterback by then-rookie Mac Jones in New England, he is yet to find his next destination in the league.

Newton might not be active in the league but he is trying to come back on the field to showcase his MVP-caliber performance once again. Meanwhile, the veteran star is adamant about not allowing anyone to laugh at his struggle. He has recently showcased his savage nature by playfully destroying a heckling teenager.

Cam Newton brutally destroys trolling fan with truthful answer

Newton led the Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance in 2015 following a 15-1 regular season, albeit he didn’t earn the Championship title. One young boy decided to remind him of his career but he got roasted by the free agent instead.

The heckler tried to take a dig at Cam asking the number of Lombardi trophies with a follow-up answer to indicate he actually didn’t get any.

“How many rings you got? We got the same amount.”

Nevertheless, the footballer isn’t someone to smile after hearing a jab and instead, he threw a dig in return saying, “None. But we don’t got the same bank account”, and followed up with an X-rated hand gesture.

However, the QB wasn’t lying at all as according to Sportrac.com, he earned approximately $130 million during his NFL career excluding all the endorsement deals and other streams of money for an athlete. He was also under a lucrative five-year, $103.8 million deal before the 2015 season.

A person from behind the barricades then said, “you’re too famous to be acting like that.”

Once again, the All-Pro quarterback didn’t back down from answering and asked him not to play the victim card saying,”No, no, don’t play the victim now.”

Though Super Cam couldn’t get any Super Bowl till now, he got many honorable titles and accolades including the Heisman Trophy as well as the national championship at Auburn, Rookie of the Year. Besides these, he is also a three-time Pro Bowler, an All-Pro, and obviously an MVP.

Is Cam Newton going to play in the NFL 2023 season?

After heading to his NFL career as the 2011-number overall pick, Newton enjoyed a prolific career till 2016. Following the season, he got plagued by injuries and later joined the New England Patriots in 2020. However, he didn’t stay there for long and again came back to Carolina in 2021. That season marked his last snap in the league.

The 34-year-old has recently said he is optimistic about having better caliber than the top 32 QB1 in the league and said he would now prefer to be a backup, per a video posted on his YouTube account. He also named some signal-caller he would like to backup, keeping Deshaun Watson in the first place.

Cam Newton

“I’m willing to be a backup. Players that I would back up: Number one Deshaun Watson. He was on my 7-on-7 all-star team. I’ve grown to admire the person, the athlete that he is. Going through a lot of turmoil but I believe that’s behind him.”

His list featured Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Justin Fields, Deshaun Watson, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, Malik Willis, Sam Howell, Aaron Rodgers, C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Anthony Richardson.

So far there is no development about his comeback in the league. Which team Newton might end up with? You can share your answer with us in the comments.
