Conor McGregor set to make his acting debut in ‘Road House’ remake ft. Jake Gyllenhaal on March 21 release

Conor McGregor in the world of MMA has already become a legendary figure. Whenever the world discusses MMA, the Irish UFC superstar is always part of the conversation. McGregor recently announced a debut in something, which came as a surprise for many of his fans, as they thought they would get to see Conor in the UFC first.

This sudden career shift might influence his fans to look forward to his comeback this June. The probability of making a movie debut before entering the cage might provide a glimpse of what The Notorious is considering at this stage of his career.

Conor McGregor is set to appear in the ‘Road House’ remake

One of the biggest comebacks in UFC history is still awaited by Conor McGregor’s fans. The whole combat sports community is waiting for the return of the biggest MMA star after his disappointing loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, where he broke his leg bone near the shin.

A potential bout between Conor and Michael Chandler started to trigger last year when Dana White decided to let them compete as coaches in the Ultimate Fighter season 31. Conor did manage to win the season, but the anticipated comeback that was expected to take place last year in December was pushed back to June 2024 as McGregor hadn’t submitted his blood sample in time.

Though a war of words has already started between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, the UFC star, being a businessman, has other business to take care of as well. Probably at a later stage of his career, he will be looking to a career shift from fighting to becoming an actor where genres of movie must be fighting and action.

“The Notorious” was recently seen promoting the movie Road House, with Prince of Persia star Jake Gyllenhaal playing the lead role. The unveiling of the poster and the release date marks the official announcement that the 35-year-old is going to debut in the movie first, and then after 3 months, he will make his return to the cage.

This movie is a remake of the 1989 movie Road House, where James Dalton is the main character, who has an intense past and is now living without trouble. This remake is expected to have better scenarios than the old one while keeping the exact storyline.

Jake Gyllenhall will be the lead actor, and supporting actors will include Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Joaquim de Almeida, Conor McGregor, Lukas Gage, Arturo Castro, B.K. Cannon, Beau Knapp, Darren Barnet, Dominique Columbus, Bob Menery, Catfish Jean, Kevin Carroll, Travis Van Winkle, and Hannah Lanier.
