Andrew Bogut expressed his disapproval of Josh Giddey’s actions if he were knowingly pursuing a romantic relationship with a 15-year-old girl while being 19, 20, or 21 years old. Andrew Bogut, in addition to asserting that the alleged minor lied about her age, mentioned that he would apologize if his statement turned out to be incorrect.
Andrew Bogut revealed that the incident took place more than a year ago. However, he admitted the challenge of providing precise details about the case until the full story becomes clearer. According to Andrew, the Oklahoma City Thunder had been aware of the relationship for a considerable period of time.
Andrew is questioning whether the NBA has the authority to take action against Josh, given that there are currently no charges filed. It has been revealed that the parents of the reported minor have no intention of pressing charges against Giddey, as she had misled him about her age. The NBA had begun investigations into the allegations that Josh Giddey of the Thunder, was involved in a relationship with a minor. Though there is no police involvement, the body initiated the investigations on November 24, 2023. The anonymous social media user who initiated the allegations, after saying that the girl, seen with Giddey in videos and pictures, was a high school minor at the time, had since deactivated the account.
Josh Giddey, who took the decision to disable comments on his Instagram page, opted not to comment on the issue when reporters at a press conference inquired about it. Josh Giddey acknowledged that he understood the question, but currently had no comment to make. According to CBS Sports, Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault expressed that the issue is clearly a matter of concern for the league, and it is up to them to address it.
Josh Giddey’s case, which took to the internet on November 23, 2023, on X (formerly known as Twitter) revealed Giddey and the reported minor in multiple locations, which included outside of a nightclub and Giddey discussing with the reported minor’s brother.
