NBA icon Gilbert Arenas recently shared his thoughts on Bronny James on his podcast “Gils Arenas.” Bronny has been gathering applause from many NBA stars, especially after his triumphant return from a life-threatening medical case.
Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during a game which put the future of his career on the line. However, the youngster has been able to make a healthy recovery and resume his basketball career.
“Bronny…he is like Jrue Holiday, but more athletic…He has a Bugatti engine, but he wants to drive at the speed limit. He doesn’t want a ticket. ‘I do not want a ticket.’ That is how he uses his body,” said Arenas on his podcast.
Gilbert Arenas commented on Bronny’s return, comparing Bronny to NBA star Jrue Holiday and a Bugatti engine. However, he also pointed out that Bronny is being cautious in his approach which is holding him back.
Indeed, Bronny hasn’t been the same player he once was before his health condition but the good thing is he has made a courageous recovery and is still on time restriction in his matches. His father LeBron James also shared view as he applauded him for his match on social media.
USC Trojans suffer blowout loss to Arizona State
Bronny James’ team the USC Trojans suffered a loss against Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday. It was a much-needed win for Arizona State as they were on a seven-game regular season losing streak.
The match was intense but small mistakes from the USC penalized them a lot and ultimately cost them the match. The repeated turnovers were the saviors for Arizona State as they heavily capitalized on every opportunity to outscore the Trojans before the second half.
USC tried to come back in the second half but was not able to fix the turnover issue as it continued to cost them. Bronny James was able to register 7 points and provide 4 crucial assists in his team’s loss to the Sun Devils with a final score of 82-67.
