Stephen Curry’s uncharacteristic post-Lakers game action goes viral

The Los Angeles Lakers took on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in what was possibly one of the best fixtures of the 2023-24 NBA season. The matchup brought back peak memories of 2018 as LeBron James and Stephen Curry battled back and forth in an attempt to grab the win.

With no signs of stopping, both the legends put on jaw-dropping performances, while only LeBron James and the Lakers went home with a valiant victory. On the other hand, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry seemed uncharacteristic of himself, filled with despair and heartbreak.

NBA superstar and Warriors legend Stephen Curry put up an iconic effort for the Warriors although the team lost to the Los Angeles Lakers by a singular point. As both teams fought mercilessly, Curry put the Warriors on his back, taking care of all departments on the floor.

He effortlessly elevated those around him and posed all the threats for the Purple and Gold. Through the night, Curry was not hesitant to shoot the three-ball and attempted a game-high 21 threes, scoring 9 of them.

Stephen Curry scored 46 points, shooting 17 of 35(48.6%) and 9 of 21(42.9%) from behind the arc. However, his respectable performance was overshadowed by his actions after the game which happened out of frustration. There is no doubt that the Warriors are going through one of their hardest times in the league, under the guidance of Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr.

After the game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was visibly frustrated and expressed his disappointment by tearing his jersey in half. This was more or less an expression of defeat despite his massive performance that kept the Warriors in the game against the Lakers.

Meanwhile, LeBron James did not fail to heap praise on his longtime rival, Stephen Curry, acknowledging the Warriors’ superstar’s greatness and legacy on the basketball floor.

The Dubs have now lost their last two games in the dying stages of the respective games. Both defeats came in the final moments, with margins of just 1 point each – a 134-133 loss to the Kings and a 145-144 defeat to the Lakers.

As another episode of the iconic LeBron-Steph rivalry drew to a close, LeBron James expressed his utmost respect for his competitor, Stephen Curry who put up a masterclass against the Los Angeles Lakers.

As both teams gave and took baskets, Curry went on a hail-Mary attempt to tie the game in regulation time while being guarded by Anthony Davis. Swiftly moving Davis off-balance, Curry dribbled into the paint for the game-tying layup. The intense battle extended into two overtime periods. In the second overtime, LeBron James secured the victory for the Lakers by making two crucial free throws with just over a second left on the clock.

Soon after, LeBron was seen embracing and consoling the four-time champion. In his post-game remarks, James expressed admiration for Curry, acknowledging the privilege of competing against one of the greatest shooters in the history of the game. LeBron stated, “It’s been a treat to go against one of the greatest to ever play this game.”

“For us to continue to push each other at the state of our careers, you don’t take it for granted because you don’t know how many times you’re actually going to get the moment to actually be on the same floor with such a talent.,” he said.

LeBron added, “It’s something I’ll be able to talk about with my grandkids. When you talk about me being able to compete versus one of the greatest players to ever play the game.”

A few days after his record-breaking 20th All-Star Game selection, LeBron James had another historic night, spearheading the Lakers to victory. Leading the team, Bron scored 36 points, collecting a game-high 20 rebounds and made 12 assists, casually bringing up his second triple-double of the season.

His stat line also marked the first 30/20/10 game for the Lakers since Kareem Abdul Jabbar in 1968. In his 21st season, the King continues to dominate the basketball court with his raw athleticism and efficient shooting, which the Lakers hope will bring them the championship.
