AEW star Darby Allin allegedly sustains a broken nose following a bus accident

Although injuries are a typical plot point in wrestling, they can come as a surprise when they occur off-screen. That is precisely what happened to Darby Allin of AEW in New York City when he got hit by a bus. According to reports, he is dealing with a severe injury.

It was still possible for Darby Allin and artist Raymond Pettibon to enjoy a Broadway performance despite experiencing a bus accident in New York City. Allin documented the event on Instagram, stating that he was hit by the bus in Manhattan as he attempted to cross the street. Following the incident, he shared a selfie that was covered in blood as well as images from the theater where he was with Pettibon.

Allin now has double health concerns alongside this accident right now. Since his match against Jay White on AEW Dynamite’s “Big Business” episode, he has been out with a broken foot. It has already pushed back his ambitions to scale Mount Everest.

Allin experienced more challenges because of his broken nose after the bus accident. Everyone who knows this tough wrestling excellence is hoping for a speedy recovery.

But this isn’t Darby Allin’s first run-in with New York City. Tragically, a car hit him last year while he skateboarded in the city. Thankfully, the occurrence wasn’t quite as serious as the one that happened recently.

Darby Allin got hit by car while skateboarding

Known for his risk-taking movements both in and out of the ring, Darby Allin is no shrinking creature. It was unfortunate that his skateboarding trip in New York City took an unexpected turn only a year before. Last year’s AEW Rampage, which aired on April 7, revealed that Allin had been skating the day before when he got hit by a car.

According to WrestleZone, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer then reported that Allin was blessedly unhurt by a minor instance of road rash that afflicted his back and sides of the body. Despite the back pain, he showed how dedicated he was by going back into the ring the next day to fight Lee Moriarty.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
