Jey Uso sends a stern message to his fans, asking them not to ask for spot in gym

After Cody Rhodes moved to SmackDown, Jey Uso is now the top face on the red brand as Seth Rollins is injured. His rise to prominence as a singles competitor has been well received so far by the crowd, evident from the weekly reactions Jey gets during his entrance.

But just like a normal human being, Jey does not appreciate strangers invading his personal space. Something of that sort happened recently when he was working out in the gym. The former tag team champion took to social media and posted the following:

Apparently, a fan asked him for a spot which agitated the former tag team champion, leading to this not-so-ducey reaction from Jey. WWE performers often get besieged at airports, hotels and many other public places, which sometimes puts them in a bothersome spot. After hours of traveling and performing night after night, fans hounding them during their moment of solace is not something many superstars are appreciative of.

The fan who asked for a spot probably expected a YEET from Jey, but that wasn’t the case. With a big match on the horizon, the former Bloodline member is focusing all his energy towards WWE Backlash, so for now, no YEET.

Jey Uso challenges Damian Priest at WWE Backlash

After winning his match against his brother Jimmy at WrestleMania 40, Jey maintained his momentum. Following his win to earn a title shot, Jey started a war of words with Damian Priest until they met in the ring this past week on RAW.

Priest got a superkick from Jey after the failed sneak attack from JD McDonagh. The duo will come face-to-face again next week on the go-home show before WWE Backlash in France next month.

Before that, all eyes lead to SmackDown as the 2024 WWE Draft is set to kick off on Friday night. It would be shocking if Jey gets drafted just before his title match, but with Jimmy Uso injured, there’s no point in that happening at this stage.
