Roman Reigns took his eyes off the prize for a moment when he swung the chair on the back of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40, allowing Cody Rhodes to finish his story with the title win. After the end of his historic title reign, The Tribal Chief is yet to make an appearance on WWE television and is reportedly on a hiatus.
But what is Roman Reigns doing on his hiatus? This question was partially answered by a picture circulating on social media. The picture shows Roman Reigns sitting on a throne with loads of cash, gold bars and feminine company around. In a post shared by Fightful Wrestling, it is shown that actress Lauren “Keke” Palmer was the source of the leak.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keke Palmer is currently working on a project with Emmy Award winner Eddie Murphy for the heist comedy titled “The Pickup”. This could be the potential project that Roman Reigns is also working on, but no official confirmation has been found as of the time of writing.
Roman Reigns incidentally joined a football gaming franchise before WrestleMania 40 and now if the speculations are true we will be seeing the 38-year-old in a movie soon. But, this won’t be the former WWE champion’s first break in Hollywood.
Roman Reigns’ Hollywood endeavors so far
Roman Reigns is yet to transition into a full-fledged Hollywood star like his cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and WWE legend John Cena. His first movie appearance came back in 2019 in “Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw”, where he played the role of Mateo Hobbs, the brother of Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson). The Samoan wrestler has also featured in the 2020 Netflix movie “The Wrong Missy” and the 2021 animated movie “The Rumble”, lending his voice to the character “Ramarilla”.

With the latest turmoil brewing in the Bloodline, it will be interesting to see when the Tribal Chief returns. Though it has been speculated that Roman Reigns will be back on WWE SmackDown for the last episode before the 2024 WWE SummerSlam, no official confirmation has been provided by WWE yet.
