Dak Prescott sues his false sexual-assault accuser for alleged $100 million extortion plot

Over the years, Dallas Cowboys’ franchise QB Dak Prescott has proven himself to be one of the most dependable and high-performing signal-callers in the entire league. His unmatched skill of carrying the team through tough situations and excellent game awareness make him a highly sought-after property in the NFL circuit.

However, with his superstardom comes a lot of unnecessary attention, and from the looks of it, the 30-year-old might have involved himself in yet another scandal involving a woman who has made claims of indecent behavior against Prescott.

Dak Prescott files lawsuit against the false sexual assault accuser

Dak Prescott, who very recently became a father to a beautiful baby daughter, was accused of sexual misconduct by a woman who said that the 30-year-old forced himself upon her after inviting her into a car driven by his entourage and even indulged in vaginal penetration after repeated attempts at saying no.

This blasphemous accusation has led to Dak Prescott filing a lawsuit against the woman for a falsified case and seeking $100 million in damages from the quarterback. Prescott’s attorney, Levi McCathern, recently talked about his client’s innocence and explained the reason behind this reverse lawsuit.

According to the Washington Post, McCathern explained, “Mr. Prescott — a new father to a baby girl — has great empathy for survivors of sexual assault. He fervently believes that all perpetrators of such crimes should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. To be clear, Mr. Prescott has never engaged in any nonconsensual, sexual conduct with anyone. Lies hurt. Especially, malicious lies. We will not allow the Defendant and her legal team to profit from this attempt to extort millions from Mr. Prescott.”

The lawsuit filed by Shores, conveyed through a letter to Prescott and his legal representatives, alleges that the purported assault occurred around February 2, 2017, shortly after the conclusion of Prescott’s inaugural season in the NFL. According to the letter, Prescott and his associates purportedly invited Shores into a black SUV, during which he allegedly exposed his genitals and employed physical force to assault Shores despite her sexual objections.

“Ms. Shores has had to live with this pain and trauma for 7 years,” the letter explains. “It affected her relationship with her fiancé and her everyday existence so much that she had to attend therapy and counseling and will require future therapy and counseling. She has suffered mental anguish that is unimaginable, dealing with the trauma of being a sexual assault of victim.”

“Despite the tragic events, she is willing to forego pursuing criminal charges, along with disclosing this information to the public, in exchange for compensating her for the mental anguish she has suffered,” read the letter.
