Fans demand WWE to bring back intro from 2009 after Triple H welcomes Nickelback member at SmackDown

Triple H is one of WWE’s biggest talents. The D-Generation X member joined the company in 1995, and since then has never stopped working for the betterment of the WWE universe. The Game is the 14-time World Champion and he is currently the Chief Content Officer of WWE.

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s job as the Chief Content Officer is to oversee the Company’s Creative Services departments, Creative Writing, Talent Development, and Talent Relations. Recently the WWE superstar welcomed a Nickelback member who made RAW’s theme in 2009 and now fans want it back.

Triple H greets Chad Kroeger at WWE SmackDown

Hunter Hearst Helmsley (Triple H) is the official handler of the company’s several affairs, and recently during the SmackDown Live event in Vancouver, Canada, he was seen with Chad Kroeger, the main singer and guitarist of the rock band Nickelback. Triple H took to his Twitter/X account to share a picture in which he did his signature pointing pose with Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.

Nickelback is one of the greatest commercially successful rock bands in Canada, with selling more than 50 million albums worldwide. The band has fans all around the world. Their “How You Remind Me” was the best-selling rock song of that time and they share a history with WWE.

In the world of professional wrestling intro music is very important and Nickelback provided a lot of classic theme songs for the company. The band’s “Burn It to the Ground” was the official theme song of Monday Night RAW, which ran for three consecutive years from 2009 to 2012.

Fans demand WWE to bring back Nickelback intro from 2009

Nickelback has been a closely tied partner with WWE and their relationship has stood the test of time. The rock band has created a number of music for WWE’s other premium live events. For the Elimination Chamber 2012 event the band created the track ‘This Means War’ which was used during the entire time the show ran. Another track they created was used for Survivor Series 2014 and it was named ‘Edge of a Revolution’.

Nickelback consisted of four members, lead guitarist and vocalist Chad Kroeger, who is the face of the band, drummer Daniel Adair, bassist Mike Kroeger and rhythm guitarist/keyboardist/backing vocalist Ryan Peake. The band was created in 1995 in Canada and still makes music to this day. The group also performed live for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) during their Tribute to the Troops event in 2011 by performing a rendition of ‘Burn it to the Ground’ in Norfolk, Virginia.

Since Chad Kroeger was last seen in WWE, fans are hoping that the company will bring back their iconic theme song. They demand the authority to bring back the 2009 intro and switch it with the current one. The ‘Burn it to the Ground’ theme is a classic for the WWE universe and they want to feel the magic of Nickelback through their music in the Red Brand of WWE.

Although WWE has not confirmed or denied anything following the theme song request, it may or may not change in the future. As events like the Royal Rumble are set for January 27, the band may even create another exclusive premium event music for the company. If fans are interested in the previous theme song of 2009 then they will definitely bring it back or may even create a new one with the Canadian rock band.
