LA Knight has had a remarkable year so far. This phase of his career has gained him a lot of recognition from WWE fans, which is a significant achievement. Recently, he has also received recognition from his hometown, which is a great accomplishment for him.

LA Knight receives major honor

WWE Superstar LA Knight was recently awarded the key to the city of Hagerstown at noon at University Plaza, located at 50 West Washington Street, as a form of recognition for his exceptional performance in the wrestling industry.

The Megastar has been recognized as WWE’s rising star of the year, with many fans showing up to support him. Although he was unable to dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, his journey to becoming a main-event wrestler will go down in history.

The City of Hagerstown, Maryland, honored The Megastar with a warm welcome, cheering “Welcome Home” and “You deserve it”. As a popular WWE babyface, LA Knight took the opportunity to address his hometown crowd and express his gratitude for their support.

In his speech, he specifically spoke to the younger members of the audience, encouraging them to pursue their dreams despite any challenges they may face. Knight also remembered his hometown as the only constant in his life during his pro-wrestling pursuit.

LA Knight issues warning to Randy Orton and AJ Styles

The General Manager of WWE SmackDown, Nick Aldis, has officially announced a blockbuster triple-threat match for the upcoming SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution episode. The match will feature LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles. All three of them have a history with The Bloodline and will be competing to secure a win in the triple-threat match. The winner of this match will earn the right to challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Last week, AJ Styles made a return to SmackDown and wasted no time attacking The Bloodline. Randy Orton is also seeking retribution from the faction for sidelining him for almost two years. These events have made things challenging for Knight, who is also looking to get revenge on Reigns and his stablemates after they denied him his title opportunity at Crown Jewel 2023.

On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, in a backstage segment, LA Knight claimed that he would be the next challenger to Roman Reigns at the 2024 Royal Rumble. He confidently predicted that Randy Orton and AJ Styles would not stand a chance against him after taking a couple of BFTs in the ring at the SmackDown New Year’s Revolution event.

“The big news is that at the Royal Rumble, you will see Roman Reigns and LA Knight. Why is that? Because at New Year’s Revolution, in just two weeks, what you’re gonna see is you’re gonna see Randy Orton, you’re gonna see AJ Styles, and you’re gonna see both of them fall to their feet. We’re on the business end of a BFT. Yeah!” said LA Knight.
