Kay’La and Damian’s love story began to blossom during their time at Weber State University in Utah. While Damian chose to leave school and pursue his dream of playing in the NBA, he didn’t let go of his education entirely. On the other hand, Kay’La was reportedly studying nursing during their time together.

Kay’La, despite earning a nursing degree, has ventured into the world of entrepreneurship. Partnering with Brittney Coleman, she took a leap of faith by opening Dipped Nails, a thriving nail salon located near Portland.
