Drew McIntyre fires shot at “Bondage Undertaker” Damian Priest following short-lived title reign at WWE WrestleMania 40

In the opening segment of tonight’s RAW, Triple H passionately said that WrestleMania 40 was the best one ever, full of shocks and amazing moments. One of the most shocking moments came when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase after a long wait and swiftly claimed the heavyweight championship from Drew McIntyre in just five minutes. While ranting at Priest on tonight’s RAW, the Scottish Warrior dubbed him the “Bondage Undertaker.”

As WWE Raw unfolds tonight at the Wells Fargo Center, it marks a fresh start for Drew McIntyre after his disappointing loss at WrestleMania. While the unexpected outcome was disappointing for him, the Scottish fighter is determined not to hold back when he fights Damian Priest to regain his heavyweight title. However, on tonight’s RAW, McIntyre didn’t get physical with Priest, but from the ring, he gave “The Archer of Infamy” a strong warning.

In his promo, McIntyre vented his anger about what happened at WrestleMania XL, when Priest became champion by cashing in his MTIB briefcase. McIntyre used the outcome’s assessment as “complete and utter BS” to highlight how brief his tenure as champion was. He made a funny comment about how his WrestleMania moment went longer than some people’s performances in bed.

Following that, McIntyre unleashed his wrath on Priest, calling him the “bondage Undertaker” for sabotaging his hopes of winning the belt. The 38-year-old has stated his intention to confront Punisher to resolve their disagreement over his heavyweight title belt.

What WWE has in store for their impending confrontations is anyone’s guess, but Priest’s surprise action at WrestleMania was certainly spectacular.

Damian Priest’s surprise MTIB cash-in over Drew McIntyre

At WrestleMania Night Two, Damian Priest made a surprising move by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on the newly crowned Heavyweight champion, Drew McIntyre. After a nail-biting bout, McIntyre knocked out Seth Rollins to finally reach his championship goal. But his party was cut short when CM Punk struck him, leaving him open to attack by anyone.

Seeing the chance, Priest took it and quickly turned the tables on McIntyre, taking the title of World Heavyweight Champion in a matter of seconds. The sudden change of circumstances shocked fans and suggested that McIntyre and Punk were building a rivalry, which may culminate in a confrontation in Glasgow, Scotland, and that Scottish Warrior would almost certainly face the Judgment Day member in the near future.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
