This past week on WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were involved in a segment that, since then, has lit up the social media. Drew McIntyre’s burger jibe did not sit well with the Celtic Warrior as he is now getting back at Drew at every given chance.
After declaring the name he’d like to be called after winning the King Of The Ring tournament, Sheamus continued his comic assault on the Scotsman. After Drew McIntyre channelled his inner Scott Steiner, Sheamus went on the offensive and posted the following:

It did not stop there, as the master of the Brogue Kick labeled his former best friend, Drew ‘Sex Panther’ McIntyre. In his latest post, the 4-time world champion teamed up with CM Punk to bury Drew using the same meme McIntyre used after CM Punk got injured earlier this year at Royal Rumble.

The two former champions are yet to trade blows in the ring following Sheamus’ return after WrestleMania 40, but as things are going, that day is not far away. But not all of Sheamus’ posts were funny, as one of them bore sombre news amid all the online bickering.
Sheamus copes with personal loss
Sheamus revealed via his Instagram account that his family is mourning the loss of their dog, Vesper. The former US champion shared numerous pictures of his ginger shadow to which numerous WWE superstars of past and present shared their condolences. Notable names were, Natalya, Rhea Ripley, Otis, Ivar, Nikki Cross, Matt Cardona, Jessica McKay and AEW’s Mercedes Mone.
With the 2024 WWE Draft starting this Friday on SmackDown, it will be interesting to see where Sheamus and Drew McIntyre end up. But the way the story is developing, it won’t be a surprise if the duo face each other in the KOTR Tournament which will culminate next month in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
