Wrestling veteran drops hints about Brock Lesnar’s future with WWE

After an extended hiatus, Brock Lesnar was expected to make a triumphant comeback at the Royal Rumble 2024. Lesnar almost made a comeback but had to stop because he was involved in Vince McMahon’s case, and for the same reason, he also missed WrestleMania 40. Yet, there’s hope on the horizon, as WCW legend Konnan hinted at Lesnar’s imminent comeback during a recent conversation.

Since his intense confrontation with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar aka “The Beast Incarnate,” has not been seen in the WWE ring. Whether Lesnar will return to the WWE stage is a question that fans across the world are looking to solve. After Mania, Triple H dropped a hint that The Beast may return at any moment because the WWE door is always open for him. To add fuel to the speculation, legendary WCW wrestler Konnan recently recommended an interesting opponent for Lesnar on his podcast “Keepin it 100.”

Wrestling fans were pumped up when Konnan suggested Lesnar take on Gunther next. While referring to Ring General, the wrestling veteran said, “There might be a change man, I don’t know. Because I keep seeing that Brock is back on the roster. He’s coming back or something like that so maybe they’ll go back to Brock and Gunther too.”

Until Brock makes a triumphant return to the ring, fans are dwelling on Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar’s iconic SummerSlam match, in which Rhodes cemented his position as an integral part of the organization.

Brock Lesnar’s last performance under Stamford-based promotion

Brock Lesnar’s limited appearances on Raw contrasted sharply with his significant presence at pay-per-view events, where he consistently drew crowds. Despite his defeat, the fans still love his last SummerSlam matchup against Cody Rhodes. The intense rivalry between them led to a captivating showdown, with Rhodes ultimately securing the win with three consecutive CrossRhodes.

After the match, Lesnar showed sportsmanship by hugging Rhodes and raising his hand in a gesture of mutual respect. Since then, the 46-year-old hasn’t been on WWE TV. Now everyone is waiting impatiently for him to get back into the ring, particularly for the long-awaited confrontation with Gunther.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
