Roman Reigns is one of the biggest superstars on the WWE roster. From being in the main event of consecutive Wrestlemanias to breaking and setting records, the Head of the Table is at the top of his tenure. He has held the undisputed WWE Universal Championship for three years now.

It is known to everyone that The Tribal Chief has always been complimented by fans for his in-ring persona. However, fans have recently pointed out his signature gesture being performed by one former WWE star after his win at the AEW All In event.

Fans point out CM Punk resembling Roman Reigns

With the recent news of CM Punk being terminated after the AEW All In event last week, fans have had their interests piqued by what seems to be a Roman Reigns correlation in the title match. After the termination announcement came, an investigation into Punk’s altercation with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry was concluded. Following the announcement, fans are viewing Punk’s last AEW match with Samoa Joe in a new way.

In the title match for All In, Punk took on Joe for the ‘Real World Championship’, successfully retaining his title. The bout was truly something to behold, considering Punk’s history with Joe for the last 18 years in the business. But the majestic moment when Punk exited the ring with his title has caused a stir amongst fans, thanks to its resemblance to The Tribal Chief.

In a tweeted video, CM Punk was seen walking out with his hand raised with the index finger pointing upwards Punk’s action resembled Roman Reigns’ signature gesture. The tweet was captioned, “The devil is in the details.”

The caption was referring to a possible connection with Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, as It is also the signature gesture of The Bloodline. Fans were quick to catch on. But a few fans started speculating on possible storylines between Punk and Reigns in WWE if Punk joined the promotion.

Reigns’ next opponent is still unclear following WWE Payback’s absence

In the recent big event, WWE Payback, Roman Reigns aka The Tribal Chief was not included in the match card. The main event was the face-off between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura. Although the undisputed Universal Champion has been doing the main event in PPV events, his absence in the recent one was expected since the release of the Payback Posters weeks ago.

Roman Reigns’s next opponent has not yet been confirmed. Many expected Jey Uso to dethrone Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2023, but the Tribal Chief retained his title. For the first time since WrestleMania 39, what’s immediately next for Reigns is unclear. The WWE creative team could give him a break from the relentless Bloodline drama and have him feud with a different compelling opponent. However, there is no official indication of Reigns’s next opponent.
