WWE veteran R-Truth sends emotional message to Rey Mysterio, vows to take care of Dominik Mysterio

WWE Superstar R-Truth has been in the news since he started calling himself a Judgement Day member. The multi-time WWE 24-7 Champion has been hellbent on proving to Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio, that he is worthy to be their teammate.

In a recent interview, R-Truth made a vow to Rey Mysterio, who was betrayed by his son Dominik Mysterio and later joined a dominant faction. Truth’s emotional message to Rey surprised fans as he comforted the Hall of Famer, assuring him that he would take care of Dom to the best of his ability.

R-Truth sends a strong message to Rey Mysterio

R-Truth has been trying to prove that he is a Judgement Day member, even if it is not accepted by the faction members. The two-time WWE United States Champion even went as far as to create new merch in the Judgment Day theme, while Dominik Mysterio found it amusing, it offended Rhea Ripley.

During a recent interview on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, R-Truth gave an emotional message to Rey Mysterio, saying that he would take care of Dominik, and as a Judgement Day member that is what they do.

Truth sent a message to Rey saying, “Be strong. I am looking over Dom. He is in good hands. We are the Judgment Day Rey. Just keep doing what you’re doing. And I’ll make sure Dom is taken care of. It is what it is Rey, and the best thing I can say is live, laugh, and love.”

Not long ago, WWE conducted a poll discussing whether the faction should allow R-Truth to join as a member. Unsurprisingly, the WWE Universe gave their verdict in Truth’s favor. The official caption of the post read, “Should The Judgment Day let R-Truth join?” Both options displayed the ‘Yes’ sign, meaning that regardless of where everyone voted, R-Truth received 100% support from both options.

R-Truth talks about his relationship with Judgment Day

Recently, in an interview with Bill Apter, R-Truth was asked to disclose some dark secrets about Rhea Ripley and the two-time WWF Hardcore Champion clarified that the faction members do not share their secrets outside.

He also continued to elaborate on his relationship with Judgement Day, “The door was unlocked. They’re a very trusting group, and they’re more humble than you think. I’m trying to hook it up. I’m that close to being in the group,” R-Truth said.

The 52-year-old wrestler has been on a relentless pursuit on joining the villainous faction and he will never stop trying to win over members like Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio, as Damian Priest has somewhat accepted him as a potential member.

R-truth has been trying to bond with his supposed teammates, and Finn Balor is not happy with that. On January 15, Balor posted an angry Tweet to Truth. He wrote, “Stop sending me tweets. Stop texting me. Stop leaving voices mails. Stop trying to face time me! Don’t be waiting for me at the hotel tonight. And NO.. we are not getting breakfast together! EVER. “
