Cody Rhodes claims wife Brandi “got hugely scapegoated” after AEW departure, confirms WWE WrestleMania 40 appearance

The anticipation for WrestleMania 40 is growing exponentially as time goes on. The weekly revelations keep fans on the edge of their seats. The suspense was heightened lately by Cody Rhodes’ fascinating hint regarding his wife, Brandi Rhodes.

Even though Cody’s mega battle with the Bloodline was announced a month ago, the main event shocks continue to pour in as WrestleMania approaches. While talking about his time in AEW recently, he made a brief allusion to the possibility that Brandi may be appearing at the Show of Shows.

Cody Rhodes claims AEW wronged Brandi

In his path to WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes has encountered several challenges. He has also lost and regained his chance at the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. The disdainful behavior shown by the Bloodline has further complicated matters and caused distress to Rhodes’ loved ones, particularly his wife Brandi Rhodes.

Brandi has been unfairly blamed and criticized since they left AEW, even though she tried to help everyone in the company. Now that Cody is back in WWE and WrestleMania is just around the corner, unresolved frustrations regarding the wrestling community have intensified again.

In a recent interview with The MMA Hour, Cody addressed the misunderstandings surrounding their relationship by explaining the tension they’ve had. He has spoken about how he is “pissed off” by the dots that have come from the false information spread about Brandi.

The American NIghtmare said, “That woman [Brandi Rhodes] got hugely scapegoated and hugely, just misinformation, and everyone knows who they are that was involved, and if ever there was a moment for her to feel like a princess and feel like somebody who did a lot more for wrestling, there’s so many people working for AEW, she was the one who said their name and wanted to keep them in the fold when something went wrong.”

During the discussion, the 38-year-old also dropped a bombshell that her wife Brandi could be sitting ringside at WrestleMania 40.

Cody Rhodes reveals Brandi will be at WrestleMania 40

For a few weeks now, The Bloodline has been making things difficult for the Rhodes family, and Brandi Rhodes is sick of them. Brandi recently showed her obvious contempt for The Bloodline by going to Twitter on Easter to offer Easter joy to everyone else, except them. It remains to be seen how Brandi will support Cody at WrestleMania, especially considering her return to this year’s event.

Codey said that his wife Brandi Rhodes could be at ringside for WrestleMania 40 in the same interview with Ariel Helwani. He noted, “I don’t know if ‘involved’ is the right way to put it. I wouldn’t want her [to]. Wrestling is violent no matter how you look at it. I wouldn’t want her to be in that harm’s way. But I do think … I guess this is a little scoop, final stop of the day. I do think you will see Brandi at WrestleMania.”

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
