In contrast, Kevin Durant led the way for the Suns with 28 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block, securing the victory.

With this loss, the Wizards’ record dropped to 4-21 in their first 25 games, placing them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, the Suns improved to 14-12 in their first 26 games, holding the tenth seed in the Western Conference. Following the Wizards game, they are set to face the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon on Tuesday.

Jordan Poole seems to be too engaged with some off-court activities as reflected in his season stats of 16.2 average points, 3.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in his 25 games. Aside from his below-expectation season stats, he was caught absent-minded on Monday night leading to the Wizards’ 142-129 loss to the Giannis Antetokounmpo’s led Milwaukee Bucks, as the clock ticked away and his team trailed in the fourth quarter, he allowed precious moments to slip away.

Highlighting his struggles this season, Jordan Poole must surely approach the season with greater seriousness. Repeatedly, there have been instances of Poole turning away after missed three-pointers or not focusing during timeouts. Despite his performances attracting fierce criticism this season, it is important to note that Jordan Poole has the potential to transform the Wizards into a championship contender.
