Dominik Mysterio is set to appear in this week’s RAW, for a one-on-one match. The former NXT North American Champion will face off against The Miz on Monday. Both superstars have been in a feud since the Day-1 event where Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) defeated The Judgement Day
Not long ago, The Miz posted on social media, mocking Dominik, and this caused Mysterio to clap back at the WWE star with a nasty Shawn Michaels GIF as his reply.
Dominik Mysterio slams The Miz
Dominik Mysterio is set to duke it out with The Miz in this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Both superstars last faced each other in the RAW Day-1 event in a tag-team match where The Miz and R-Truth defeated JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio by a pinfall victory.
Since it was announced that Miz and Dirty Dom would face each other in the ring, the Awesome star took to Twitter, where he posted a taunting comment about the former North American Champion.

Miz said in his post wrote, “Hey @RonKillings, I’m confused. Am I fighting Tom or Nick?” It’s also worth noting that Dominik’s real-life name happens to be Nick Mysterio and Miz mentioned that as a joke. After the post was shared, Dom took to Twitter to share his take on Miz’s comment. Mysterio posted a picture of an inappropriate GIF of Shawn Michaels.

Although The Miz never replied to Dom’s reaction post, it is evident that both athletes are getting ready to set their differences inside the ring, and the WWE universe is excited for the last RAW edition before the Royal Rumble event on January 27.
Dominik Mysterio vs The Miz on Raw match preview
Dominik Mysterio had his mixed moments last year be it his triumphs, challenges, and stardom, he dominated as a NXT champ for some time before he was dethroned. This year saw a shaky start for the 26-year-old wrestler. Dominik Mysterio vs The Miz was not on the previous match card for January 22 RAW, it was recently added by WWE on their official site.
The preview on WWE.com read, “Two of the most despised villains in WWE history will square off this Monday as The Miz battles The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. The Miz is renowned for being despised by the WWE Universe, but his recent actions have earned him praise and respect. Mysterio, on the other hand, has been setting records for the high decibels of the boos and jeers he has received from the WWE Universe. Who will walk out the winner when The A-Lister takes on “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio?”
Dominik Mysterio started his WWE career under his father, Rey Mysterio’s shadow, now as an athlete he has grown into a bonafide star in the making. WWE superstar Randy Orton even added his view on “Dirty” Dom’s future as a wrestler.

Dominik’s name has still not been confirmed in the match card of Royal Rumble 2024, only 9 out of the 30 entrants have been made official as of 20th January 2024. Fans are hoping to see Dom participate in the event. Even though he might not win, his performance as a wrestler will be more entertaining to watch.
