Lola Vice promises to win NXT women’s championship after defeating Elektra Lopez

Lola Vice has emerged as a rising star in the NXT Women’s Division in recent days. She made a bold statement to the NXT locker room by winning the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament last year, earning a contract for a title shot at any time of her choosing.

Recently, in an interview, Vice opened up about her Tournament victory and confirmed her interest in challenging Lyra Valkyria to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Lola Vice wants to take Lyra Valkyria’s NXT title

During a red-carpet event for Bianca Belair and Montez Ford’s “Love & WWE” reality series, Lola Vice spoke about her next move in NXT. She expressed her confidence, stating, “I always think about where I am right now in NXT. The women athletes, we’re taking over. It works. We train, we work hard, and we’re becoming a product of the WWE. I do think in five, six years, we’re gonna look back and all the female athletes are gonna be taking over the division.”

Vice concluded by confidently stating, “In 2024, I will become NXT champion because whatever Lola wants, Lola gets.”

Vice has the opportunity to cash in the contract she won for a Women’s Championship opportunity at any point in time. She secured the victory by defeating Kelani Jordan in the finals of the tournament held at NXT Halloween Havoc. On the same night, Lyra Valkyria defeated Becky Lynch to become the NXT Women’s Champion for the first time.

While Vice has not confirmed when she will cash in her contract against Valkyria, after today’s conversation, it is expected that she will face off with the champion sooner rather than later.

Lola Vice defeats ex-tag team partner following violent breakup

This week’s NXT episode featured a match between Vice and her long-time friend, Elektra Lopez. They used to be friends and tag team partners, but their relationship soured after Vice eliminated Lopez in a battle royal for a chance to face the NXT Women’s Champion.

The match turned intense as they exchanged insults and punches, ultimately being separated by security. The animosity continued on social media and backstage, leading to a match on the latest episode of NXT.

The hard-fought and intense bout ended with Vice securing the victory after hitting Lopez with a Vice Grip. However, the match did not resolve their animosity, as they continued to stare each other down after the bell.

Vice claimed that she was glad to get rid of Lopez, accusing her of being selfish and holding her back. In contrast, Lopez felt betrayed and vowed to make Vice pay for her actions. Despite their showdown, the feud is set to continue in the upcoming episodes of NXT.
