Dominik Mysterio opens up on WM 40 role

Dominik Mysterio is recently making less WWE appearance, after he lost his NXT North American Championship to Dragon Lee, at the NXT Deadline. Dominik, appearing for an interview with Konnan & Disco Inferno on Keeping it 100, shared his feuds and matches for the upcoming WrestleMania 40.

Dominik said, “I have no idea what I’m doing at Mania. I don’t really get a head’s up on anything when it comes to creative and stuff. Tell me what to do and I’ll do my best to go out there and make it look as best as possible to the best of my abilities. I’m not in the position to be politicking. I’m very blessed to be in the position that I’m in, so I’m not going to be poking at any bears or any fingers or anything. Tell me what to do and I’m here for it. I’m happy. I’m having a blast doing it, especially with the crew that I’m doing it with.”

Dominik expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform on the grand stage of WrestleMania, emphasizing that he doesn’t take anything for granted. His mature speech reflects a deep understanding of the business, prioritizing his long-term career over short-term gains.

Dominik recently made history by facing CM Punk for the first time in 10 years at the Madison Square Garden on WWE’s Live Holiday Tour. However, Dominik lost his match, but received appreciations from former WWE Stars and fans for his outstanding performance.

‘Dirty Dom’ also became the first WWE star to win a title on three different brands, RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Dominik’s role at WrestleMania may be uncertain, but his potential is undeniable.

R-Truth explains the origin of “Tom & Nick” name for Mysterio Jr.

The Judgment Day has been annoyed by R-Truth’s attempts to join them, and they have not appreciated his humor. R-Truth, who returned to WWE at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November 2023, has been involved in a storyline with the Judgement Day.

His new way of calling Dominik Mysterio as Tom & Nick, as two different persons, has went viral and WWE also released thier official merch with Tom & Nick. During his recent interview on Rush Hour Morning, R-Truth shared the real reason and the person who came up with this idea for Dominik’s name.

He said, “That was Rob Fee and myself. When he said the name at first, we both laughed, we knew it would work. That’s one thing about the wrestling business, if we laugh at it, we know everybody is going to laugh at it. That’s how we pick and choose. I can’t take credit for all of that one.”

Truth revealed that the idea originated from himself and Rob Fee, a writer and producer for WWE. It was a collaborative effort, and they both found it funny. In the next RAW episode, Truth is set to face The Judgement Day alongside his team members, The Miz, Tommaso Ciampa, and Johnny Gargano in a four-man tag team match.

Despite being beaten up by The Judgement Day, Truth has not given up and continues to try to prove himself as a member of The Judgment Day.
