Rhea Ripley’s dream to become the “most tattooed human ever” took a significant hit during her early WWE days

WWE superstar Rhea Ripley’s appearance has undergone a significant transformation since joining WWE. Gone are the days when she had long blonde hair, no tattoos, and piercings. The Women’s World Champion now proudly sports a leg sleeve, a rib tattoo, and several more tattoos on her arms, and even her lips.

Previously, WWE had a rule prohibiting Rhea Ripley from having tattoos on her upper body. Consequently, she got most of her earlier tattoos on her legs, which she could easily conceal with pants. However, she has since extended her tattoos to her arms.

WWE handed Rhea Ripley a major setback

WWE superstar Rhea Ripley is expected to have a big match at WrestleMania 40 this year. Ripley also possesses a unique personality and a passion for tattoos. However, WWE had previously requested her to refrain from getting additional tattoos on her upper body.

To achieve her dream of becoming the most tattooed human ever, Ripley even considered wearing pants to get all the tattoos she desired from the waist down. She shared this information during an interview with TalkSport in 2020.

“My dream since being a little girls is to be the most tattooed human ever. I just love tattoos, I don’t know why! I’ve always loved them. But, unfortunately for me, WWE isn’t clearing my upper body [for tattoos]—that’s why I wear pants! I got pants, so I wouldn’t have to clear my tattoos because you can’t see them. I’m trying to finish my leg sleeves, then hopefully I can convince people to let me get my arm sleeves and other stuff, but we’ll see how that goes,” said Rhea Ripley.

WWE has to take a lot of things into consideration when one of its superstars gets a tattoo. They need to think about the promotional material, video games, and action figures that they put out, as well as the image that the character portrays.

It appears that WWE had a different image in mind for Rhea Ripley than what she wanted to represent with her extensive tattoo collection. However, despite this, her current approach seems to be working out well for her.
