Seth Rollins labels The Rock’s wrestling saviour claim “dumb s**t”

Seth Rollins has recently criticized The Rock’s comments, calling them “dumb s**t.” The Architect is a former member of The Shield and has been trying to establish himself as a heel since his WWE comeback.

Meanwhile, The Rock has been in the news for taking credit for bringing wrestling back into the limelight. He also made some pointed remarks about Michelle, the mother of Rollins’ WWE rival, Cody Rhodes.

Rollins disputes The Rock’s claim of making wrestling cool

At a WWE event held in Rockford, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes formed a tag team and won the match against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. This victory helped them build momentum for their upcoming WrestleMania tag team match. After the match, Rollins took the microphone and addressed The Rock’s recent statements, which received a negative reaction from the audience in Illinois, with some booing and chanting “Rocky Sucks.”

During a wrestling event, Rollins spoke candidly about The Rock’s claims, calling them “dumb s**t.” This caused the audience to react negatively, resulting in a chorus of “bull s**t” chants.

When Rhodes suggested that Byron Saxton would be better suited to make wrestling cool again, Rollins acknowledged Saxton’s contributions but passionately argued that the entire wrestling industry, with everyone who has tirelessly worked in it for years, deserves recognition for the ongoing revolution.

Rollins stressed the importance of the fans in the revolution, highlighting their dedication as a crucial factor. He clarified that the crowd’s intensified response to Rhodes’ entrance music has nothing to do with The Rock.

The Great One is scheduled to make a comeback at WrestleMania 40, where he will team up with Roman Reigns to face Rhodes and Rollins in the main event of Night One. The outcome of this match will determine the stipulation for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Reigns and Rhodes on Night Two.

The Rock returns to confront Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40

The tag team match for night one of WrestleMania 40 has been officially announced. Last month, Cody Rhodes challenged The Rock to a singles match at WrestleMania 40, but The Rock declined and instead proposed a counteroffer. The counteroffer was a tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, with The Rock teaming up with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Suppose, The People’s Champion and The Tribal Chief succeed in defeating Cody and Rollins. In that case, Rhodes’ title match against Reigns on the second night of WrestleMania will be subjected to “Bloodline Rules.” On the other hand, if Cody and Seth come out as winners, Cody will be able to avoid facing The Bloodline altogether.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins accepted the challenge on the March 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This means that Rhodes will indeed run the risk of having his night two title opportunity ruined by The Bloodline.

During the main event of WrestleMania 39 on night two, Solo Sikoa spiked Cody, which led to Reigns delivering a monstrous Spear for the win. If the match becomes “Bloodline Rules,” Solo would be expected to play a significant part in it.

On March 8th, before SmackDown started, The Rock posted a video where he referred to Rhodes’ dog Pharaoh as a “goodhead”. He also criticized Rollins for laughing and dancing, even saying that Seth has no rhythm at all. This only added fuel to the fire in their rivalry.

Before the show, SmackDown’s General Manager Nick Aldis warned Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and The Bloodline that they would be kicked out of the building if things got out of hand. However, Aldis’ efforts proved to be in vain as Cody Rhodes went on to slap The Rock for saying that “The American Nightmare” was a mistake for the Rhodes family.
