Fans expect an entertaining race and fresh faces on the podium at the Abu Dhabi GP, one of the most anticipated podiums of the year. As many races turn podium celebrations into mini-festivals, fans sense the impact.

New Abu Dhabi GP podium shows Monza resemblance

The Monza track is considered the temple of speed, and the drivers who conquer this temple ascend to the top step of the podium, gazing down at the fans like worshippers admiring their idols. The sheer atmosphere in Monza transforms into a gala of surprise and joy as drivers celebrate together with their fans. This makes Monza one of the most eagerly anticipated tracks of the year.

Inspired by the podium at Monza, the UAE has put forth its own idea for the podium celebrations, creating a new structure that lets drivers celebrate right above fans and engage in the moment with them. The Abu Dhabi GP will be the last race of the year and the podium will give the fans a chance to enjoy F1 for one last time to the fullest.

Abu Dhabi GP expected to eclipse previous year

Yas Marina Circuit will be holding the 15th edition of Abu Dhabi GP this year and considering the huge crowd of fans that joined the party last year, the officials have decided to provide improvements in order to have better reception and gain more popularity from the sport.

According to the CEO of Ethara, Saif Al Noami, “We are ready to go with all the final touches now complete. It’s going to be a unique 15th edition of the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix,” Al Noaimi told the media. “Last year, we set a record, and this year, we are expecting to exceed those numbers. We’re really excited to put on an amazing experience for customers.”
