Rhea Ripley shares Instagram hacking attempt in shocking revelation

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is currently one of the most popular female WWE superstars, and her fame continues to grow each week. However, with great popularity comes a downside. It appears that The Eradicator’s Instagram account was almost compromised recently while she was asleep.

While social media has transformed the way fans engage with their favorite wrestlers, it also brings along its drawbacks, including rampant toxicity and the risk of hackers targeting the personal accounts of well-known individuals.

Rhea Ripley reveals cyber attack on her social media account

At WWE’s last premium event, Elimination Chamber 2024, Rhea Ripley was the headliner. The event concluded with Ripley’s victory over Nia Jax, which turned into a celebration in Australia, her home country. However, Ripley’s good time has been disrupted as she recently revealed that her social media account was almost hacked.

Rhea Ripley shared through her Twitter account that her Instagram account was functioning normally when she went to bed last night. However, she faced difficulty logging in to her account in the morning. She suspects that someone may have attempted to hack her account, as she found herself unable to access it.

“I had Instagram when I went to bed, but when I woke up, it was gone… Looks like someone tried to hack me,” Ripley wrote in her tweet.

Regrettably, this is not an isolated incident. Several WWE superstars, including John Cena, Chris Jericho, and Stephanie McMahon, have encountered similar situations in the past. Unfortunately, some of them had to contend with even more severe consequences as hackers posted hateful remarks on their behalf. Let’s examine what transpired when other WWE superstars also became victims of such cyber attacks.

Rhea Ripley crosses paths with Iyo Sky on WWE RAW

On the March 4th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Damage CTRL made an appearance in the ring to scout Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler ahead of their match against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.

After Stark and Baszler won the match, Kai announced that they could have a title shot if Asuka and Sane were successful in their match against Lyra Valkyria at NXT Roadblock on March 5. In response, Rhea Ripley sent a clear message to Damage CTRL.

In the later part of the show, Rhea Ripley, the Women’s World Champion, confronted Damage CTRL. She had a face-off with IYO SKY, the WWE Women’s Champion, cautioning her not to encroach upon her territory.

Before this confrontation, Ripley also encountered Becky Lynch, who is set to challenge her at WrestleMania 40. Lynch’s match against Nia Jax was disrupted by Liv Morgan’s interference, and Ripley mocked her for the same.
